Technorati Post Claim

Do you know that Technorati is the recognized authority on what’s happening on the World Live Web right now? That’s what they write about themselves here. According to Technorati data, there are over 175,000 new blogs (that’s just blogs) every day and they update their blogs regularly to the tune of over 1.6 million posts per day, or over 18 updates a second!
Bloggers publish and share their ideas, and millions more to read and respond. By blogging, people engage the writer and reader in an open conversation, and are shifting the Internet paradigm as we know it.
So what have Technorati done with that? When bloggers frequently link to and comment on other blogs and creating the type of immediate connection one would have in a conversation, Technorati tracks these links, and thus the relative relevance of blogs, photos, videos etc. They rapidly index tens of thousands of updates every hour, and so monitor these live communities and the conversations they foster.
Those technorati work, can be used as one of your way to promote your own blog by doing the tag and ping job, just like what I want to do now.
But first, you need to claim your blog on Technorati by creating a new post in your blog and include the html they provide.
Here’s the code that they provide me : Technorati Profile. This post will ping Technorati and clain that I won this blog, then technorati will start to crawl this blog.
We’ll see what’s next when I’ve posted this article!
