The zoom offered with these cameras are amazing, as many can get above 100X! HD cameras offer you the chance to shoot high definition picures and videos, and send them to friends or family. Shooting up close and personal is never a problem with HD video cameras. The television signals in general will give you 525 lines so the increasing quality is dramatic, if you have the HD gear to watch the video the way it was meant to be.
What you may not be aware of, is the fact that HD is delivered in a widescreen format of 16:9 instead of the normal television format of 4:3. The average everyday customer has every right to be confused as to what HD really and truly is, as most companies involved with it can’t agree on one simple standard. You can also save your shoots to disk or memory card, then take them with you everywhere you go. [Read more]

All Systems Go – Three Compatibility Options for HDTV
July 20, 2008
HDTV is an excellent advancement in technology that provides superior picture and sound quality when compared to traditional analog television. But, there are many different ways to take advantage of this technology, mainly broadcast antenna, cable, or satellite.
Broadcast Television
ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, and the WB all broadcast prime time shows in high definition. In fact, the FCC ruled that commercial broadcasters such as these had to begin changing over to digital transmission as early as May of 2002. According to the National Association of Broadcasters, 1155 of over-the-air broadcasters in the United States met this initial deadline.

Solar Power Bra, Eco-Friendly Charge
May 18, 2008
Clearly we’re huge fans of environmentally-friendly innovation, but this has got to be one of the most ridiculous ideas ever to hit the green market. Japanese lingerie maker Triumph International have invented the perfect eco-friendly girl gadget: the solar-powered bra.
The bra comes with a detachable solar panel, worn around the stomach, which can generate enough electricity to power an iPod or mobile, the makers claim. “It is very comfortable and I can really feel involved in eco-friendly efforts as well,” model Yuko Ishida said.
The environmentally friendly, green-colored brassiere includes a solar belt that goes around the stomach, but its creator admits that “people usually cannot got outside without wearing clothes over it” and says it should not be washed or worn in the rain to avoid damage. The green bra boasts a solar panel around the midriff that can generate enough energy to power an Ipod or its small monitor, which can display messages, such as “save the planet.” It also features liquid-holding baggies with detachable straws in an effort to discourage use of cans and bottles.

“It is very comfortable and I can really feel involved in eco-friendly efforts as well,” model Yuko Ishida said. Of course it raises some interesting issues, given that most folks would wear clothing over them. And then there is this bit from the company: you can’t wash the garment.
The message is very clear. To save our Earth is really crucial – so crucial even women underwear can take a part. The bra was revealed prior to the 2008 G8 Hokkaido Toyoko Summit that will address environmental issues.
Apparently this company keeps looking for innovative ways to use ladies lingerie as they have previously created a bra that turns into a reusable shopping bag. Other “green” concept bras include one with a reusable shopping bag folded conveniently inside, and a “my chopsticks” bra that holds a handy set of reusable, collapsible chopsticks that can be tucked in either side.
